M de Minuty

M de Minuty is a crisp, mineral-driven rosé from the storied Château Minuty in Provence, known for its pale salmon color, elegant freshness, and consistently high-quality expression of the region’s terroir. Typically blended from Grenache, Cinsault, and Tibouren (with occasional Rolle/Vermentino), it offers bright notes of wild strawberry, peach blossom, citrus zest, and a saline finish that makes it superbly food-friendly—especially with Mediterranean fare, seafood, and light salads. Stylishly bottled and widely regarded as a benchmark for Provençal rosé, M de Minuty balances approachable fruit with lively acidity, making it an excellent everyday aperitif or a reliable choice for entertaining.

Notes: One of our favourite Champagnes! The exceptionally high proportion of chardonnay (50%), balanced to perfection with the two pinot' (45% pinot noir & 5% pinot meunier) can be thanked for the unique character of this Champagne. More than 25 cru wines from the finest Champagne terroirs in Cotes des Blancs & Montagne de Reims make up the blend, together with 30% of reserve wines. All these elements allow Laurent Fresnet, Cellar Master, to create the ultimate blend, & year after year recreate, with amazing consistency, this unique signature style.
Delicate bubbles with a nose of citrus fruit, blossom, brioche & nutty aromas. Well balanced & harmonious on the palate with flavours of brioche, together with crunchy fruit & a fresh, clean finish. Aged 3 years before release.

Producer Info: Established in 1808, Champagne Henriot is one of the rare Champagne houses that is completely independent, & which has remained in the hands of the same family throughout its long & illustrious history.
Since its founding, the Maison has been driven by the passion of individuals who have captured the essence of Champagne’s true terroir, passing this unique expertise from one generation to another. Originally from Lorraine, the Henriot family settled in Champagne in 1640. Nicolas Henriot married Apolline Godinot, who owned prestigious Pinot Noir vineyards in the Montagne de Reims. Together, they devoted their time & energy to the family vineyards & selling wine. On the death of her husband in 1808, Apolline launched Maison Henriot. In 1880, Marie Marguet, the wife of Apolline’s grandson, added to the family’s collection of vineyards with several plots in the Côte des Blancs. This firmly established Maison Henriot in the prestigious Chardonnay vineyards. Today, using the finest Blancs de Champagne which are at the heart of its history, Henriot adds an exceptionally high proportion of Premier & Grand Crus to its cuvées which come from the finest Chardonnay parcels.

Country: France
Region: Loire / Sancerre
Vintage: 2020
Style: White
Blend: Sauvignon Blanc 100%
ABV: 12.5%

Notes: The Sauvignon Blanc grape excels in this rich, limestone soil, giving a crisp edge to the wine`s natural richness. This single vineyard Sancerre has the added complexity of mineral & herbaceous flavours on the palate. Well balanced & round in the mouth, the immense long notes of gooseberries & citrus combine with the crisp flinty notes which linger on the finish.

Producer Info: André Neveu, owner & winemaker of his eponymous domaine in the tiny village of Chavignol, has been making wine for over 45 years. André, locally known only as ‘Casio,’ is a seventh-generation winemaker in this village known mostly for its famous ‘Crottin de Chavignol,’ which is a small round of aged goat’s cheese that is best consumed at 10 AM with a fresh glass of Sancerre (something we can all surely get on board with)! Today, Casio’s son-in-law Thomas Dezat has assumed the role of winemaker at this 30-acre estate. Producing four terroir-specific white Sancerres (all 100% Sauvignon Blanc), as well as a red & rosé both from Pinot Noir, Casio & Thomas are producing some of the best Sancerres available at the moment in our humble opinion.
