Notes: An excellent value wine from Santo Isidro de Pegoes & one of our personal favourites! With aromas of red berries, spice & a hint of vanilla. Evolving later into aromas of dried fruits, chocolate, spices & coffee on a well structured & smooth palate. Soft & fruity mouthfeel, complemented by attractive coffee notes on the lingering finish. 9 months in American & French oak barrels to impart complexity, followed by six months in bottle. An excellent quality & great value Portuguese red.

The cooperative is made up of 140 winegrowers & has access to over 1,100 hectares of vineyard located in the Terras do Sado area of the Setúbal peninsula.
