nNotes: One of our favourite ‘go-to’ Chardonnays. A dry wine with an elegant hint of butteriness on the nose, refreshing green fruits combined with creaminess on the palate & a lively finish. Aged on its fine lees for a period of two months adding complexity & texture. This is truly an excellent value wine that is perfect served chilled either on its own or as an accompaniment to poultry, fish, or light pasta dishes.

nProducer Info: Domaine des Pourthie is an estate of 60 hectares, situated near Agde, a few kilometres from the Mediterranean Sea. It is now in the hands of the fourth generation of the Pourthie family. The vineyards are located on a ridge formed during the Ice Age, where the soils are gravelly clay & limestone. The Mediterranean warmth & sea breezes combined with the terroir, help to ripen the grapes harmoniously & maximise their aromas. The winery has recently been updated with modern equipment, leading to more sophisticated methods of vinification. These are classically styled Languedoc wines & offer great value.
