Notes: Consensus is an intriguing & unusual blend that combines Portugal`s finest native red variety, Touriga Nacional, with the elegant & fragrant Pinot Noir selected from the Quinta de Porto Franco on the Atlantic coast north of Lisbon. It is a deep ruby colour, showing intense & complex red fruit aromas. The palate is full bodied without being heavy & very smooth with  concentrated fruit balanced by rich tannins, ripe cassis & summer fruit flavours complemented by dried fruit & spice notes & a hint of vanilla. The finish is dry & extremely persistent. Serve with grilled meats, lamb or pork casseroles, roast suckling pig, game or strong cheeses.

Producer Info: DFJ Vinhos is one of Portugal`s most innovative & highly awarded wine producers, winning best Portuguese producer in both the New York International Competition & Berliner Wine competition in 2018. They control estates in the Lisboa, Douro, Setubal, Alentejo & Tejo wine regions & work with 22 different grape varieties. The company is headed by Portugal’s top winemaker, José Neiva, who has worked with some of Portugal`s largest wineries & was one of the world`s most productive winemakers. He has now been leading the way for over 40 years &, at the recent `Portuguese Wine Oscars`, he was made `Senhor do Vinho` – the highest accolade for an outstanding career.
