What was then Hoffman Mountain Ranch vineyard & winery was the first gravity-flow winery in America & first commercial-scale winery in Paso Robles.
Known affectionately as “Maestro” & “the dean of Americans winemakers,” then enoligist Andre Tchelistcheff mentored a long list of legendary California winemakers. He revolutionized Napa Valley wine making by concentrating on high-quality California Cabernet Sauvignon aged in small French oak barrels.
George & Daniel bring the same drive, passion, exactitude & intensity that led these one-time refugees from the Lebanon to forge success in the business world to the cultivation of this land. The estate stands alone at 2,200 feet & is a true contender for ‘first growth’ stature with its soils, aspect & climate. This is partnered with the skill of the brothers in their pursuit of excellence in the vineyard & cellar.
