Producer Info: Today the house remains one of the few independent family-owned & managed Champagne houses, with each family member passionate about safeguarding the distinctive style that sets them apart.

The house was founded in 1829 by Jacques Bollinger, & soon earned a reputation for quality. Under subsequent generations its reputation has gone from strength to strength, with the company today under the careful stewardship of Ghislain de Montgolfier.

The house owns vineyards in some of the best villages & grows almost two thirds of the grapes used in its wines; such significant vineyard ownership is most rare amongst the major Champagne houses.
